This website is run by Golden Eagle Films, through its division Golden Eagle AI, for the feature film HAMILTON: The First Flame. This page explains what personal information the site collects, why, where it is kept and how you can have it removed. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Email sign-up
When you sign up for updates on the Follow page, we keep your email address, the date you signed up and a record that you ticked the consent box. We use your address only to send news about HAMILTON: The First Flame, such as trailers, release dates and screenings. We do not sell it, rent it or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Your address is stored in a database in our own account with Cloudflare, the company that hosts this website. Cloudflare holds it on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes. If we later use an email service to send the updates, your address will be moved to that service, which will likewise act only on our behalf, and this page will be updated to name it.
We keep your address until you ask us to remove it, or until we stop sending updates about the film. Every update we send will say how to unsubscribe.
Contact messages
The form on the Contact page does not store anything on this website. It opens your own email program with your message filled in, and nothing is sent until you send that email yourself. We use the details in your email only to reply to you.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or tracking tools. Cloudflare may set a small security cookie that helps protect the site from automated attacks. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare also keeps short-lived technical records of visits, such as the internet address and type of browser, to keep the site running and secure.
Services that load on some pages
The site's typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google receives your internet address when a page opens. Videos play from YouTube in its privacy-enhanced mode. A video only connects to YouTube once you press play, though the preview pictures for the videos load from YouTube's image servers. Links to Facebook and other sites take you to those sites, where their own privacy policies apply.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to remove your email address, to tell you what we hold about you, or to correct it. Write to nancycatherine@comcast.net or use the Contact page, and we will act on your request promptly. Depending on where you live, the law may give you further rights over your information, and we will honour them.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their email addresses. If you believe a child has signed up, please contact us and we will remove the address.
Changes to this page
If we change how we use personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top.
